Our Green / Environmental Policy
We go to a lot of trouble to minimise our carbon foot print and our waste.
All of our alarm panel batteries are taken to recyclers (this now costs us money and labour to do so but it is important to us).
Our electronic PCB's and old computer equipment is sent to recycling plants; also at our cost.
Cardboard, copper, metal, plastic bottles and glass etc are sent for recycling.
We have a worm farm in our kitchen for food scraps.
Timber pallets are cut up for fire wood.
Office paper is shredded and used by Wellington Bird Rehabilitation Trust for bedding. It is then green-wasted and turned into compost for gardens.
